Am back to my hostel.. And guess what!! I got a surprise - an Apple Ipod Shuffle - my First Apple productt... Though I hadddddd beeen eating my dad'ssssssss head to get me an Iphone soon.. But hey Ipod is good to start with, isn't it??
Anyways I got this Ipod as a gift courtesy Lakme India, coz I had won their Facebook contest.
This month is really really luckyy for me.. *** TOUCHWOOD***


Btw did I tell ya? Back home I did lotsaa shopping ( actually a lil bit ) which I would share with you all in the next post, also that I met with a small accident because of which my right foot is now bandaged and is all swollen :( :( :(

First of all Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas.. Hope you all have a great one..
I have come home finally after my exams got over.. We don't celebrate Christmas here, but I'll be going out with my friends to a local mall to see the decorations around & lil shopping !! :D

So, I have got the pictures of the ONLY event finally, but they aren't that great like I was hoping.. But just because I had promised, I'll share the pictures, am posting them for you all.. She had dressed herself up in Red Pants & Blue jacket , but later feeling Delhi's cold; she had asked for a white shirt to wear inside ( Maybe also because the press & media were continuously talking about how she had dressed up soo skimpily in Delhi's cold weather ). 
But she talked soo nicely , elegantly & didn't make us feel that we were talking with a SUPERSTAR !!
Nd trust me she looks GORGEOUS and has a beautiful sMILE!! : )

Last week I was looking online for some shoes when I thought about different heels I own- and well I proudly own some stilettos, pumps, high heels etc. But then I wondered do we all really know about different types of heels and their distinction?

Then I just searched a lott about them and decided to jot down this post.
So without blabbering much, here it goes-

First of all the definition of HEELS as in Wikipedia- High-heeled footwear (often abbreviated as high heels or simply heels) is footwear that raises the heel of the wearer's foot significantly higher than the toes.

So different types of heels are- 

• Stiletto- A stiletto heel is a long, thin, high heel found on some boots and shoes. It is named after the stiletto dagger. Stilettos give the optical illusion of a longer, slimmer leg, a smaller foot, and a greater overall height. They also alter the wearer's posture and gait, flexing the calf muscles, and making the bust and buttocks more prominent. ( ahhaa.. that's why they call them the SEXIEST of all heels).

• Wedge heels - A type of shoe, with a round toe and thicker platform sole in the front that narrows towards the back. Wedges have no actual "heel". They look cool if you want to look more "mainstream" but do not actually want to buy spike heels.

• Cone heels- A heel that is wide at the top and narrow at the bottom.

• Kitten heels - A kitten heel is a stiletto heel of 5 centimeters or less in height; some are as low as 3 centimeters. This is an anomaly because a shoe or pump with regular wide heels of 3.5 centimeters high would normally be considered a flat shoes.

• Cuban heels- A broad heel of moderate height with a slightly tapered back and straight front, used in shoes and some boots.

• Spool Heels- A spool heel is a heel that is wide at the top and bottom and narrower in the middle. Spool heels were first popular in Europe during the Early Georgian era (1715-1750).

• Platform heels- With a high heel at the rear, and a flat, uplifted support in the front part of the sole, platform enable you to maintain balance easily. Someone said that platform sexy high heels is a cheaters way to have very high heels and this is not difficult, because a 6" heel with a 3" platform feels the same as wearing a 3" heel. 

• Pumps- High heels pumps are a closed-toe shoe that covers the toes with a high heel at the rear. The shoe uppers on the sides of pumps extend around the back of the foot to cover the sides and heel of the foot. But there are also open toed pumps which have the end of the toe box cut out so the toes show.

Winter has started taking its proper shape slowly & steadily in this part of NCR now. Sitting in my room right now, am feeling very nostalgic and bored of the routine here.
I just wish to get placed ASAP now, the placement process has little slowed down in my college coz of exams, so we are expecting companies to come for our course in January.. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Well I haven't been out anywhere recently, and well in the college I don't feel like getting dressed up soo its just the usuals Kurtas or Western formals. So I thought of sharing this Outfit I had once worn to my Malaysia trip.

It was a hot day out for the City Tour of Bangkok, so I preferred wearing my favorite Polka Dot top from Vero Moda ( earlier featured HERE ), pairing up with GAP skirt (earlier featured here).
I couldn't take many pictures of this outfit, so please manage with these few pictures for now. :(



I would be putting up more posts about my recent shopping hauls from Sarojini Nagar and few from some other stores soon. 
Right now am just in a mood to go home ASAP so that I could cherish GHAR ka KHAANA ( Home-made food ) and snuggle in my cozy blanket eating our famous Punjabi Food- Sarso ka Saag & Makki Ki Roti !!! 
ahhh I miss homeeee... :((

Hope you are having a great weekend.. I was thinking about what to write as my 1st post in December ( The earlier one was just a Thank you post)..
So I thought of sharing my favorite beauty products as its the year end, and we all must have tried new products throughout the year and would have stuck upon some favorite ones. I don't use makeup much, but yes there are few of the products which I use regularly and always keep them handy.

So without blabbering much, here the list goes-

1. Lakme Lip Love Hottie


My love for this lip gloss is justttt unmatched. I had lost this gloss within days of purchasing it, although I had many other glosses in my kitty but I was soo much in love with it that I had to rush to repurchase it. I still remember the havoc I created and tears I shed when I found out that I had lost my precious lip gloss ( yes this is true, even my friends thought I had gone mad :D ).
The gloss is smooth and the shine & color is the just the right amount I like.

2. Vaseline Healthy White Body Lotion


I have been using this body lotion since 4years now and well am in love with it. It moisturizes my skin very well and keeps it smooth in winters too :)

Its December, and I started my blog in June.. 6 months have passed since I started my blog one lazy day, thinking about my passion for shopping, fashion, etc. I started my blog so that I could share my passion & love with like-minded people rather than being laughed about by some people around or being a called a shopping-freak. The same people now appreciate me for starting my blog and being so passionate about it.


When I first started my blog, I never thought I could even reach a figure of 50 because I never thought I had that style or X-factor in me. But well here it is, I woke up today and found that I have reached 100 followers.
It was the most happiest moment in my life this year, thinking I really have achieved something good outta my passion.
So here it is for you all, Thank you soooo much for reading my blog, giving suggestions and motivating me always.


Had it not been to some blogs I read way back in June during my summer internship, I would have never had started this blog at the 1st place. So I would love to say THANK YOU to all those bloggers too.

This post was lying in my drafts since many days, but finally I got time to post it. I had my first job interview today, but I couldn't get through the 2nd round. Am a little disappointed, but then as it was my 1st interview only- I guess it was more of a learning experience. I would prepare more hard for the next interview ( which is tomorrow only. Wish Me Luck Plzzzzz :D )

Anyways I went partying with my friends last week and as it was decided just at the last moment , I really couldn't decide what to wear at such a short span of time. I picked out this skirt from GAP I have always loved and decided to pair up with a top from Globus gifted to me by my best friend. I didn't know it would work out sooo well.

Hope you are having a great weekend !! I had a great one too, with all the shopping I did yesterday but now back in class ( I mean who keeps a class on sunday??? Ewwww ) and getting bored. So well I Thought of sharing with you all the jewellery and accessories I bought in the last 2 weeks from Globus and some random street shops.


I bought a statement necklace, stars pendant, earrings and few rings. Here are the pictures-










All the above jewellery is from Globus except the Stars necklace which I got from a local store and found it soooo veryy cuteee !! : ) 
I love Globus and Westside for their cute and affordable accessories. Statement rings and necklaces are a must have this season.


I got few cutee hair accessories too yesterday while I was out shopping for winter stuff ( I would post about them later ). Here they are-





The stones hairband is my fav- I found it at such a low price- I am lovingg it to the core. And I guess I cant have too much of HEARTS  & BOWS accessories. I Have sooo many of them till now, but still what I find is them in cute colors ( mostly Pinks ). But we girls love them.. Don't we??

I received my Healthkart package few days ago, actually I received it 2 times, you would just get to know how !!
I had read about this website at many blogs few weeks ago, also had seen its ad at Facebook many a times.
But as I mostly buy my cosmetics from stores, I never thought to give it a try. But when I lost my favorite Lakme lip gloss, I was soo shattered ( am not exaggerating it, I was very sad & furious :D ) So I ordered it right away along with few other things.

I ordered a Lakme Lip love Hottie gloss, Lakme Face Sheer in Desert Rose, Garnier Anti Dark Circles Eye Roll-on, Elle 18 Eye Sparklers in Gun Powder and Elle 18 nail pops ( 38).

I was having a boring one, sitting in the class and attending boring presentations when I checked my blog and read AGAM's ( from Trimmings & Lace) comment. She has awarded me with a - TELL ME ABOUT YOURSELF award !!


I feel happy and elated now. Also since last few days I was receiving praise for my blog and efforts from some of my batchmates, whom I thought never noticed my blog or made fun of it.

3. I love to keep my room , wardrobe and other stuff in a very organized manner. I even keep a diary to record all the money I spend in a day and on what things I spend it.
4. I always keep throwing my phone or forgetting about where I kept it and looking for it like crazy :D
5. I have a fascination for everything pink and cute and keep collecting stuff like keychains, dolls, pens etc. just coz they are wayy toooo cuteee :D
