I had a weekend getaway finally as I visited Jaipur last weekend. I was able to attend a couple sessions at the Jaipur International Festival and visited Amer Fort - one of the most beautiful places to visit in Jaipur.
And while I was there, I also went out to dinner and this gorgeous dress by MsDressy.com really made me look flawless!

Heya all !
I hope you all have been doing well, and my Indian readers - enjoying the change in the weather all of a sudden? :D
Well, I surely am.. When we all thought that finally the chilly winters were settling down, there comes heavy rain in Delhi and boom.. its cold again :)
I have taken out all my cuddly sweaters and jackets again.
On another note I attended London Market Exhibition yesterday which was held at Hotel ITC Sheraton, Delhi. I found few amazing designer stuff there which I'll surely share in the next post.
This outfit post comes quite late giving the fact that these pictures were clicked on the very first day of 2013. Yes, its 20 days late but well didn't I tell ya all - I have become Superrrrrr Lazyyy these days.. Hehee..
Anyways I am wearing a Thrifted Blazer with a cute lace skirt and KAZO top.
Also, as the weather was relatively cold - I preferred wearing warm tights than plain stockings.
(Ohh this outfit also has an interesting story - these studded wedges I had found at a Customs store and I fell in love with them instantly. I wanted the golden ones, but then they didn't have my size in it.. :X
So I wore them for the first time for this shoot and I had hardly spent half a day in them that they broke off - I was completely shocked. I had thought of throwing them at the shopkeeper and demanding my money back if he didn't issue a replacement. But to my suprise he politely returned the money- No Questions Asked - that was really sooo customer friendly :) I hardly find any such stores these days !)

Hey fellas!

I have been working on editing an Outfit Post, which has been delayed a lot as the weather has made me really lazy. Also, I get very little time to blog these days after being at office till 6pm. Ufff.. now I realllyy get time only at weekends to get pictures clicked for my outfits and share via blogposts!
Anyways, I have some greatt greattt news to share! Last month I was approached by Allen Solly to get featured in their Solly on Style series. I was more than happy to be a part of the same. The first time the shoot was scheduled, I was really realllyyy excited but I was soon disappointed as the shoot was postponed!
I thought of letting go the thought of featuring in a video till the day finally comes! And well straight after Christmas the shoot was planned again and was shot at PotBelly Rooftop Cafe, Shahpur Jat, New Delhi.
The restaurant is a very cute, little place and a must visit for all the Delhites. I have heard they serve the most delicious Bihari food, available nowhere else in Delhi.
The video has finally come out and posted at Allen Solly's Youtube Channel. Though I didn't like how I look in the video ( the camera definitely has added few pounds, also my new haircut was unmanageable during the entire shoot ), but I really liked the concept of the shoot and how well it has come out.

Do you like the video? I was superr superrr nervous during the shoot, and I feel it reflects in the video as well. But this is the first time I have been featured or even I shot for a video - and that's what makes me moree happy. :)

Anyways, its SALE time and all of the major brands are offering amazing discounts. I have already scored a pair of Steve Maddens and my eyes are now on ZARA. ( would share the collective haul soon)
Also, its time that you can cleverly pick few items from the Sales which will be IN the next season ie. Spring/Summer.
Here are my favorite trends for Spring-Summer 2013 -

Look bold and quirky with various graphic illustrations on t-shirts, dresses and even trousers. They'll make you stand out in the crowd as well. I also have got myself a pair of face print pants which I have worn HERE.

3. Sheen & Sequins

4. Tribal
Aztec prints, feathers, fringe and many other tribal prints and detailing are in rage this season with even Indian designers like Surily Goel, Pia Pauro and Ranna Gill. Even I have got my hands on an aztec print dress and shirt which I'll be sharing in an Outfit post soon.

5. Fluorescents
This trend is here to replace Neons. Punch pinks, loud lemons or hot orange - fluorescent clothing when paired with structural separates will help make you a chic fashion statement.

6. White
Whites are the best and the most soothing colour option for summers. You can always tone down bold prints and bright colours by adding any accessory , shoe or clothing item in white to your outfit.

I am back with a review post, and this time for one of my favorite brands Parachute. Last year, I had written a review for their Summer Fresh Body Lotion HERE.
Our skin becomes more dry and flaky during winters, and thus we need a body lotion which works more effectively on making our skin soft and smooth.
Parachute team sent me this amazing Gift Hamper a couple of weeks ago containing their Deep Nourish and Soft Touch body lotions which are specially made for dry skin.
The beautiful gift hamper had a basket containing the body lotions, chocolates, incense sticks and fragrant candles. The basket looks lovely, doesn't it?

Hey lovelies!
Enjoying the foggy weather? Well, I certainly am not! I am feeling unwell, so took an off from work and just relaxing at my home!
I sooo wish we could get a winter vacation at work too :(
Coming back to this post, I was invited over by Lakme Absolute Salon, South Ex , Delhi with few other Fashion & Beauty bloggers to have an experience of their services. As the invite was for Friday and I had to be at work, I hadn't expected I will be able to make it to there in time!

At one side is their exclusive foot and nail spa room while on the other side is the VIP room. Their VIP room is one service which I haven't seen at any salon before.
This exclusive room is exclusively reserved for ladies who want to get ready for special occasions with friends, and has a separate entry and exit.
