Hey everyone!
Hope you checked out my last post on French Connection SS'13 collection review. Last weekend I also visited Calvin Klein Jeans' DLF Promenade, Vasant Kunj, Delhi store to check out their latest collection. Though not a big fan of their apparel, I do admire their accessories range, especially the handbags.
Their Spring-Summer'13 collection also comprised of some trendy apparel for men and women, though the collection for women was quite limited.
One could still find some runway trends like asymmetricals, neons and monochromes in the apparel collection for women.
While the men's collection boasted of some cool casuals and classy shirts which can be dressed up as a part of Friday dressing or Club wear.

I visited French Connection last weekend at their DLF Promenade, Vasant Kunj, Delhi store to check out their Spring-Summer ' 2013 Accessories collection which comprised of some basic totes and few statement pieces.
The collection comprised of a limited no. of accessories like bags in bright colors, neon belts, quirky scarves and beachy hats.
The range is on a little expensive side with the bags starting from Rs 1999 and above.

First of all, wishing all the beautiful Mothers out there, a very Happy Mothers' Day. Go out, splurge and pamper yourselves and your mothers.. ( Though I believe you don't need a particular day to show how much you love your mother.. )
A couple of weeks back I was invited to attend a Hair and Makeup workshop which was organized by Pearl Academy, Delhi.
I am really bad when it comes to trying new hairstyles and makeup. My usual hairstyles are- leaving my wavy hair open OR straightening them a little. And for makeup, I just apply my BB cream, kajal and a lip balm.
When it comes to getting ready for some special occasion, a lip balm is replaced by a lipstick ( which I have started applying only recently) and I add on a blush and eyeliner.
So, when I got the invite, I was thrilled as I wanted to learn some basic makeup and hairdo tricks.
I attended the day two of the workshop, and learnt some tips on Contouring and application of Foundation and Blusher. It was really helpful, because so far I thought only applying a little blush on the cheeks is enough, but well Contouring does make your face look attractive.

Hey lovely readers!
Enjoying the summer time? I don't think many of my North Indian friends would be.. Excluding the heat and sweaty part of summers, what I like most about them is that you can wear your favorite outfits with ease.
So when I went for a sleep over at my friend's place, I thought it was a perfect time to wear this breezy high-low dress I purchased from Sarojini Nagar market (DELHI) last month, while we went out shopping.
The high-low trend has been IN since last season. Though I have worn asymmetrical shirts/tops a lot, this was the first asymmetrical hem dress which I felt the most comfortable and confident in.
The chirpy bird print of this dress invited for some colorful accessories like the candy color necklace I picked from a FB store and a bright orange belt.
The color-block heels by Steve Madden are also one of the most comfortable heels I own, thanks to its block heel which helps me to balance my feet even with the heel height.

Ever since I was young enough to read and watch all the fairy tales, I have been fascinated with the Disney Princesses and also all the Beauty Pageant winners and their beautiful gowns.
