Hey lovely readers!
First of all I want to wish all my fabulous female readers and fellow bloggers, a very Happy Women's Day. Although I believe we should treat each day as a special one, let's pamper ourselves a little more today :)
It's already March and the spring has started setting in with the days getting relatively warmer. Even I have kept my winterwear in closet and wearing only light full-sleeved clothes these days.
Today, in this post I am going to feature few unique wedding dresses - http://www.tbdress.com/Unique-Wedding-Dresses-Canada/ - I checked out at TBDress.com
, a popular online shopping portal, offering beautiful dresses, accessories and shoes.
I have always loved the concept of a white wedding dress worn in Christian weddings which is totally opposite to high we Indians (especially Punjabis) dress up in our weddings - bright, heavy and loud. But whenever I get married, even I wish to wear a wedding gown to atleast one of the main functions.
Well, that will happen when it has to happen, but while going through the website- I came across some totally unique and fabulous dresses for modern brides who dare to be different and want to wear the one-of-its-kind wedding gown.
Have a look at my picks -
This simple, elegant yet very feminine wedding dress is totally charming with its bell-style sleeves and delicate embroidery at the bust. A similar gown in pastel shades can also be worn to various other wedding functions like a cocktail party. One only needs to wear it with a crystal-studded pair of stilettos and carry a bright clutch along to look like a princess.
If you are not the one who would like to wear white at any of your wedding functions, why not pick a bold, bright and trendy color like turquoise blue as shown above. The cut-out neckline will make you stand out of the crowd and have a unique appeal. Such a fabulous gown only calls for a pair of sleek stilettos and statement earrings.
This charming lace gown is the dream of every bride-to-be, isn't it? It would hug one's figure beautifully and the fall at the bottom has an amazing look. I would love to pair such a gown with a statement neckpiece having colored gemstones and simple stud earrings.
So, do you also like Christian wedding gowns? Do you think we should wear a white gown in one of our wedding functions? (as opposed by our elders that newly-weds shouldn't wear White)

ReplyDeleteI had to take it in a bit on the sides from bust to waist, because I lost some weight. It is such a simple design ANYONE who sews could easily sew an inch on each side to alter it (that is what I did).
