Hey everyone!
I am back with another post as part of my Food Diaries, and this time I am writing about one of my favorite Indian cuisines - South Indian Food. I am a pure Punjabi but there are times when I love to eat different foods especially the amazing variety of Dosas.
It is also my go-to food over the weekends when I am not in a mood to indulge in Paranthas and Aloo-Puri. I quickly rush to a nearby South Indian food restaurant or order a South Indian thali online and get it delivered to my house.
Here I am covering few of my favorite South Indian restaurants in Delhi :
Their legendary dosas like Onion Rava Masala Dosa, Masala Dosai and dishes like Rava Kichadi have surely made them one of the best South Indian Restaurants in Delhi.

Here I am covering few of my favorite South Indian restaurants in Delhi :
- Sagar Ratna : Well, definitely I couldn't begin the list without mentioning Sagar Ratna - one of the most popular South Indian food restaurants in India. I was introduced to Sagar Ratna as a child when an outlet had opened in my hometown and I visited the place for a birthday party. We had ordered their Family Dosa - a very scrumptious 4 feet dosa which is perfect to share when you are dining there in a group. Also, the prices are quite reasonable which make this place one of my top favorites restaurants even now.
- Saravana Bhavan - I visited Saravana Bhavan for the first time while exploring Connaught Place with my friends last year and finally got a chance to eat at this South Indian food haven. Even though you have to wait for getting a table for atleast 30minutes during the weekends, its worth the wait as they offer an extensive selection of Dosas and other South Indian dishes which are really delicious and sumptuous.
Their legendary dosas like Onion Rava Masala Dosa, Masala Dosai and dishes like Rava Kichadi have surely made them one of the best South Indian Restaurants in Delhi.
- Vaango! : If you want to try the best South Indian thali in town, you must check out one of the outlets of South Indian food chain - Vaango! . They offer quick bites and combos with idlis, dosas and Sambhar that you would totally relish. Their reasonable menu makes it one of the outlets you must try at major Food Courts of malls in Delhi.
