A few weeks back I had attended an instaxicated Bloggers Meet with Fujifilm India where I got introduced to their cute but very interesting Instax Mini 8 camera.

A Polaroid camera was loved by one and all many years ago, long before smartphones became the talk of the town and selfies became a rage.

Instax Mini 8 is a cute and compact camera that brings instant fun and excitement to your everyday life. Available in 7 vibrant colors, not only this camera will instantly lift the mood but it takes some amazing pictures that are perfect to make and save new memories.

•  Brightness Adjustment Dial - Don't worry about how to get the perfect click from Instax Mini 8 as it automatically determines the best brightness level and indicates the same on the lit lamp so you can adjust the dial to choose different exposure levels.

• High-key Photo - Want an image with a soft impression? Adjust the dial to the hi-key mark to take some lovely clicks.

• Constant Firing Flash - It helps you get clear pictures even when the light is relatively low.

While it does take a little while for the film to develop and the film is slightly expensive, the results surely don't disappoint.

It also features a mirror-surfaced fingerprint sensor and uses a USB Type-C port which acts as a data transfer and charging port as well as a CDLA port for digital audio.


Camera :

LeEco Le 2 is packed with a 16-MP rear camera with dual-LED flash and a 8-MP front camera. The front camera is surprisingly sharp and helps get very bright and clear shots. The Beauty mode of the camera helps get an even-toned look by smoothing the complexion.

I tested the rear camera to take pictures of the valley during my stay at Golden Tulip, Chandigarh - and Le 2 helped me capture very fine details, however the images could have been a little more sharper. The camera works well in day-time and well-lit interiors.

One of the interesting parts of the superphone is that you can use the Fingerprint scanner to click selfies as well.

Battery Life : 

The LeEco Le 2 features a  3,000mAh battery which makes it strong enough to last an average day (clicking selfies, using Whatsapp and checking mails) without having to charge it.

Le 2 also has a Quick charging feature which sometimes makes the device heat up while charging so I prefer charging it using the normal mode which makes the battery last for 7-8 hours.

Overall, I found the LeEco Le 2, priced at Rs 11,999, a great-value-for-money device packed with amazing features, attractive design and a decent camera in budget. 

You also get first year membership of LeEco free which gives you an access to a wide range of audio and video content through apps like LeVidi and LIVE.

We are in July already and it makes me feel surprised about how half of the year passed by in a jiffy.

June happens to be our Blogiversary month, and this June we celebrated our 5th Blogiversary. I really can't believe how I have survived 5 years of blogging, when I had started this blog just as a platform to share my shopping hauls and never thought it would last this long.

I still remember when I used to click pictures of my new outfits inside my hostel room, my friends used to laugh at my weird Hobby, but well who would have had imagined that The Shopaholic Diaries - a blog I started as a hobby but proved to be my passion - would complete 5 years successfully.

To celebrate the 5th Blogiversary with our friends & fans, we organized a Spa party in collaboration with ELLE Spa & Salon and Crowne Plaza Mayur Vihar, Delhi.


ELLE Spa & Salon is a contemporary luxury brand launched by Sanghvi Brands-ELLE joint venture in India and the Indian Ocean region recently.
The spa promises a relaxing journey with aromatic scents, soft lighting, airy atmosphere & warm décor, rejuvenating the mind, body & soul. I'll cover more about the spa in my next post.





ELLE Spa & Salon is located at Crowne Plaza Mayur Vihar - an excellent 5-star property located right in my neighborhood, which is a one-stop place for one to enjoy awesome multi-cuisine food, a relaxing spa and an outdoor swimming pool - all this in the neighborhood of East Delhi.

The evening started with all the lovely guests enjoying relaxing foot spa sessions at the luxurious spa area near the hotel pool, while sipping refreshing iced teas.



Post the relaxing spas, we moved to the Hi-tea by the pool organized by the amazing Crowne Plaza team that included refreshing iced teas, cappuccinos, munch-ons, delish pizzas, rolls and more.



Gladly, everyone had a great time at the event and it ended up to be a nice meetup over spas and teas that helped us rejuvenate while catching up together at one platform.

While we were all gearing up to leave, the ELLE Spa & Salon team organized a mini Giveaway for all the guests where each one of us got to win exciting spa vouchers.
