Hey lovelies!
First Holi after marriage is always special. Last year when I got married in March, I missed the Holi celebrations as I was busy gearing up for Mehendi which was just a day after Holi. And that's why I had spent this colourful festival traveling from Ludhiana to Delhi for my wedding functions.
And this year again, when its supposed to be my first Holi as a married woman (and you all know how special are the First festivals after marriage for every Indian girl, thanks to our rich culture and traditions) - my husband is actually traveling and we would not be able to celebrate Holi together.
But you know what, my favourite milk brand Mother Dairy just gave me the best idea to celebrate my first Holi with my husband and that too in an eco-friendly way. That's #InstaPichkari 😍😍
Wondering what am I talking about?
Well, this Holi you can simply put colour on your loved ones who always find one or other excuse to avoid playing Holi, by putting colors on their picture through your phone and sharing that Holi Waali Picture with them.
Also, don't forget to make a special 'Thandai' for your loved ones to add on to the celebrations and to make the good times last longer on this festive day. If you are wondering what is 'thandai' - it's a very popular festival drink made using milk, saffron, cardamom and various other ingredients as per taste.
If you want to double the celebations, also prepare yummy Gujiya using the Mother Dairy Buffalo ghee, flour, sugar and other ingredients. (Click here for the recipe)
And if still someone makes an excuse to not play Holi with you, tell them in style that 'Milk peene aur Holi khelne ki koi umar ni hoti 😁'
Don't forget to share your #InstaPichkari pictures on Instagram and tag @motherdairy in your post!
Have a joyous and colourful Holi
